Meet Your Photographer

Hi, I’m Jen, Master Photographer at Hatton Pet Portrait Studio.

I think I have the best job in the world! I just love capturing the personality and expressions of every dog I photograph. As an animal lover and pet parent, you can appreciate the importance of creating a lasting memory, and having a beautiful and lasting portrait of your best friend is where I come in.

Wouldn’t the world be a better place if every person could have that connection? Don’t let precious time pass you by without preserving the memories. I’ve perfected my “Dog Whisper” techniques and find it possible to capture a portrait worth sharing, displaying, and treasuring forever.

I have always been a photographer; the magic started when my mother added Mistie to her family. At that time, I started photographing her two favorite things – her new puppy and her first grandson.

Clients ask me how I create such beautiful images with so many dogs. After photographing four-legged friends for nearly 20 years, it’s just second nature now (plus lots of tricks and treats, of course). Most importantly, I am patient.

I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend(s)!
